Think your podcast has what it takes? In this year's Summer Podcast Contest, we will be searching for the best podcasts in the categories below. The top podcasts in each category will receive an iPod Nano and the Grand Prize winner of all categories will receive a free, custom designed site for their podcast with 1 entire year of free hosting. Official Rules & Prizes
All entries must be received no later than 23:59:59 EST on 08/01/08 to be entered into the contest. Once entry is submitted, it may not be cancelled. If your podcast is selected, you will be contacted via email within 3 weeks of contest end. IPod nano prizes require the entry category to have at least 100 entrants or a substitute will be awarded. All winners will receive a TC T-Shirt regardless of position. In the case that two winners are chosen in any category, they will both receive an iPod Shuffle unless the entries in that particular category exceed two hundred podcasts.
Grand Prize
Fully custom website awarded to the Grand Prize winner will include 1 year of free hosting provided by the TC network. The entire site cannot exceed 50MB of space, not including the podcasts hosted. These podcasts will receive unlimited storage and will be managed using a standard TC podcast hosting account.
The site itself may not exceed 15 static pages and includes 5 graphic works. A designer will work with you one on one through email or IM for 8 hours over a period of up to 2 weeks during the creation of your custom site. Additional time may be requested at 35USD per hour.
Legal
We, TCN, in no way guarantee that your podcast will be selected, and are only stating that your entry will be competing in a fair judging environment along with all others submitted. The judges may choose not to select a winner in any particular category if they feel that the entrants were not worthy of an award.
